The war that was suspose to be small and quick turned in to a long drawn out 8 year obligation that is taking billions of dollars away from other programs that need the money here in the U.S

Yeah go figure, another screw up on Bush's part. I feel the war is totally unnecessary. We have had way too many soldiers killed over there. I don't think we should have just walked away from what happened to us in 2001, but 8 years later and it is still going on and only hurting us now instead of them. Is that really what was supposed to happen? I think we have enough problems over here right now, and we should keep our money to ourselves and our economy vs. the war and helping other countries out. America is supposed to be the best country in the world, and we are the ones suffering drastically right now.
